As silly as it sounds, mailing labels not only provide convenience to people, but comfort as well. By comfort, I mean that mailing labels and mail return address labels save the user a lot of potential physical discomfort and pain. As a full time freelance writer, I can tell you that I don't write nearly as much as I used to. Back in high school and even my late teens I could easily write a multiple page letter (that's front AND back of the paper being used!).
